I am honored to have been bestowed with the official "Keeper of The Green" licence.

87nissan, I believe it is!

BTW I keep my 11 quarts of GC in shiny cardboard boxes right next to the warmth of the water heater

OK OK...I'll take the 10 qts I have and put them in a safe hiding place in the house. Perhaps a nice bed of soft quilted blankets might make them fell nice and comfy, awaiting their turn to work their magic.

OK. I've now seen it all...someone had personified motor oil.

Guess I should have known this would happen in the GC forum.

87nissanKC, yes, that is the '05 batch.

Funny thing about the color is if you hold it up to the light it becomes a deep amber/red color with no hint of green. Red and green make nice Christmas colors. Hey, maybe it's Santa's elves making this stuff!!

You are MOST welcome...and entirely deserving.

Was there ever any doubt? TnS, if your GC is not alive you need to take it back.

Geez, I taught I'm the only one keeping cozy my vaunted stash of 27qts near but in a safe distance of a water heater.

glxpassat, I think the GCs should be at the top of the pedestal...err I mean the shelf instead of the M1 0w40s.

I find it odd how the M05 stuff I found today was not green, but yet was a later production date. The stuff I spotted today was M050286.

Oh yes, it's alive and well! Just changed the lawn mower and used "The Green" to replace straight-weight 40HD Castrol GTX and put some in my Vue today! That's 2 engines that have GC in them in one day!

You guys aren't normal. That oil stash is insane. In casino's the have the 1-800 number at every cashier. What kind of help is there for oil nuts? Just kidding....

Yikes, I just had a very scary thought. What if the green M05 stuff is simply the very beginning of production, but from this point on the rest of the M05 stuff will be this new brown formula?

I won't rest easy until someone spots some green M05 stuff which is newer than the brown M050286 stuff I saw today. If someone sees some green M0503 (or higher number) stuff for instance please let us know!

Wow, I didn't realize when you guys said green GC you really meant "green", I was thinking a slight tint of green. I'd like to try the GC but my Ford does quite well Mobil 1 5W30. Now that stash is awesome but would take me quite a while to go through.

glxpassat....ToyotaNSaturn

My wife is upset at you guys. I laughed so hard when I read your post that I woke up the baby. Now I have to rock him for a while.

It was worth it thought!!!

NewGuy, Please have the wife understand that "the Green" is VERY important. The little one will find dreamland quite soon, but GC is always working for us. Much like Rusty Jones, but without the plaid shirt.

cos, It really depends on the way the light hits it as to how green it looks. With the light behind it, it doesn't look green at all.

Newguy, while you are rocking, just keep saying, "Can you say GC?", and everything will be all right!

Wow, that is one green oil. Makes me want to try some, but I dont know if I could in my trucks. Anyone know if they make a green 4 stroke motorcycle oil?
