Should have jumped on the Formula Shell conventional that Home Depot just had on sale here lately. That Camry is NOT gonna detonate on conventional oil. Cant beat QS conventional oil for the price at Walmart basically.

Formula Shell at Home Depot or Chevron Supreme at Costco are really good oils / economy purchases Adam. Or use the Federated for 4K OCIs and only change the filter every-other OCI (8K)

Assuming Federated meets the API SN standards, which I'm sure it does, and your vehicle specs that grade oil go for it, especially for $1.49/qt. Changing today's conventional oil at 5,000 mile OCI's is yesterday's OC 3,000 mile norm. Depending on the vehicle and it's driving conditions you probably can even go for a longer OCI.

If I were really being budget conscious I would also consider the Federated oil. That’s an excellent price for any oil as long as it meets specs.

Watch the deals on here, and get the rebates in.

My last 10 oil changes have been mostly full syn, or semi syn oil for no more than $1-$1.50 per quart, and sometimes even cheaper due to price error or whatever.

The key is to pounce on a deal. I just used up my Pennzoil synpower jugs from a walmart price error, I had 9 jugs.

My latest deal has been the havoline semi syn, it ended up being $1/quart after rebate.

If you have Fleet Farm, they have deals also.

It's been QUITE A WHILE since I spent more than $10-$15 on a complete oil change for any of my vehicles. And I do not use junk oil, all name brand stuff with the latest API spec.

I agree with PimTac about the Federated Auto oil. I have it in my lady's Camry and it has done really well in it. Runs pretty quiet on it as well.

Wild man I think you have 3-4 good options available. 1) The Federated Auto oil 2) Quaker State Conventional 3) Trusty ol Valvoline conventional 4) Harvest King.

Any one of those 4 obviously would be good to very good. Wish I had a Royal King near me.... Nearest one is in Front Royal about 170 miles northwest of me.
