Things you drink that your friends cant understand

I think all of us drink something, or a combination of somethings, that we thoroughly enjoy, but have friends that honestly can't imagine why. The drink(s) in question can be alcohol or non-alcohol based. For me, it's straight vodka, or vodka on the rocks. I'm the only person I know who really does enjoy it; everyone else thinks it is repulsive and disgusting. Some say that I only do it to appear cool (never understood that one). I also enjoy scotch-whiskey, which is more accepted, but still disliked by many.
 
I occassionally like having Labatt '50' beer. Everyone laughs and scoffs at me, saying it nothing but an old mans beer from the 1970's.....but I actually like the taste of it.

I love that stuff! I bought a 6-pack at a local gas station (only place I know of around here that carries it) when I was in the process of moving this past March. It was a hit with everybody that helped me move. FWIW, I hear the '50' is very hard to find in the States.

That is my favorite beer, and all that I have in my fridge. Long live the 50! Although it's not as much of a disgust from my friends as when I drink Guinness, which is delicious.
 
None that I can think of. If there is something that sparks their curiosity, they will try it.
 
Intelligentsia Black Cat coffee. Extremely rich and heavily caffeinated. My parents say it "goes right through [them]" if you know what I mean.
 
Tomato juice and, by extension, Bloody Marys. If I need to irk my wife I'll drink half a glass, so there's tomato pulp stuck to the inside, then leave it on the table for "later".

I drink Dr. Pepper. Wife thinks it tastes like medicine and can't understand how anyone can possibly like it. I also drink hot red beet soup with lunch or dinner sometimes. I grew up on this stuff, but most people would probably scratch their head if they saw it.
 
Believe it or not, I get questioned on drinking coffee black. Younger years I used to drink American/Non-Arabian/Non-Turkish Coffee with cream + sugar. I drank small shots of the Arabic/Turkish coffee straight black(why tarnish something so good). Gradually I started to drink my every day coffee black and actually enjoy the taste. I have several(3-4 cups) a day. I tell people once you go a few days straight black you won't want to ruin it with creamer and sugar. I had one guy converted and swear up and down its so much better black.
 
I don't drink but.....after I make a protein shake in the blender and pour it out there is still some residue. I put some water in there and swish it around and drink the rinse water. My family finds it disgusting.
