There is no way that dumpster is water-tight, it's going to sink to the bottom of whatever body of water it's put in, and then what's that boat going to do?!? It's not like that boat can floa....errr, okay, n/m, it's fine

I'd like to know who the brain surgeon was that said, "Hey, I know...why don't we just put it in the dumpster?"

Hard to get rid of an old boat with no title.

Some landfills will take the hull if you have the title.

Usually in Texas, we'll dig a pit and toss the boat in with about 5 gallons of gas and a lit match. Bury the ashes when done.

Fiberglass is an awful for the environment boat material. If you have one and weigh it every year it gets heavier and heavier. Can not be recycled. Toxic fumes galore if you burn one. They should be banned. Aluminum is a little slower until the fiberglass picks up 500 lbs of water weight. And it lasts much longer and can be recycled.. All you you can do is landfill them, and turn the trailer into a cycle trailer, unless it has been is salt water, in which case the tubes are full of rust.

Usually you take a backhoe to the boat, smash it all into a bunch of pieces, and throw it into a dumpster. The boat pictured above, will likely get the backhoe treatment. Smashed down into the dumpster into pieces, then the garbage man takes it to the dump.
