Hello,
Trying to find the thickest 5w30 synthetic based on viscosity at 212F. Most Mobil 1 or Pennzoil I was seeing are in the range of 10 to 10.5
Please share your info of any 5w30 I've missed which has kinetic viscosity of 11 plus at 100c
Thanks.

Mobil1 HM 5w30 is 11.9; their EP 5w30 is 11.8. If you are thinking of going the 0w30 route, their 0w30 is 11.5--this info from their website.

I know b/c I just looked the last day or two, thinking about going back to thicker oils in my cars.

If you want an ultra-thick 30 grade, their HM 10w30 has an HTHS of at least 3.5, which is normally what the xw-40s will have.

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish but if your worried about shearing of fuel dilution and maintaining a minimum operating viscosity a high HTHS oil will make more difference.

Such as Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 or if you are looking for a cheaper alternative M1 HM 10W-30 is 3.5+ HTHS.

If you need an ILSAC rated oil Castrol Edge shears the least in my experience. But it's not really high in 100C Viscosity.

QSUD 5W-30 and RGT 5W-30 are on the thicker side for a ILSAC rated oil.

I have heard Havoline high mileage has a HTHS of 3.4... not too shabby either. It also has 200 ppm of molybdenum and is almost 50 percent synthetic too.

You never specified H.M oil or not.
I also noticed a deisel oil suggestion.
What is it a new GF 6 spec, oil keeps getting thinner

Basically any Euro C3 or A3/B4 oil

+1

If you can find it, Castrol Edge 0w30 is 12 cst. I think Rotella T6 5w30 is also thicker (it's ACEA E6)
Something dexos2 would also do it (dexos2 seems to encompass C3), such as Valvoline MST 5w30 which is on sale this month at Napa
Someone else suggested PP Euro L; that's a good choice and widely available at Walmart

AAP has a couple Castrol oils that you might like. One is a A3/B4 5w30, and the other is C3.

Castrol Edge 5W30 A3/B4 Full Synthetic
It's rated API SL (high ZDDP, but passes SN tests), ACEA A3/B4, MB 229.5, BMW LL-01 and VW 502/505.
Noack volatility below 10%, Zinc around 1000 ppm, HTHS = 3.6 cP and TBN is 10.2, KV100 = 11.9 cSt.
