Thick metal particles in oil

Took it to the company that sells those engines and the guy told me it’s one of the bearings that holds the transmission in place was chewed up. That ended up causing my gears to wear out..had to order a new transmission…

and WHY was the bearing chewed up?
does it slop around in a machined pocket that holds it?
was it not lubed properly?
where are the pics of the disassembled tranny and more important that bearing?

Glad you found the problem, bummer it’s the tranny. Any “warranty” on it, or are you past the miles/km/time frame?

My apologies for the late reply, I passed the warranty by 2 months so they didn’t cover me. Since I have been a frequent customer though, they asked me to pay for all the parts needed and they would rebuild my engine for free so I ended up doing that.
