When the twins were born, I bought a used '75 LTD the same pea green and faux wood trim, faux wire wheel hub caps that weighed 10 lbs each. 460 4barrel/ C6. The Grand Wagoneers that replaced it were nimble in comparison

The rigors of cross-country travel take their toll, though it is odd that all 4 are gone. They may have been stolen in the inner city when shots rang out and Clark ordered the family to duck and "roll 'em up!"

My folks had this whale of a car. Dad installed one of those hitches that bolted to the bumper and under the spare tire well and pulled a pop up camper all over the northeast. Load up and go. Good times.

The early ones were neat with the exception of the quadratic system. The 80's ones were so bogged down by emissions that they had no power and ran awful.
