The fallacy of false causality can often be found in jokes. An example follows.
A father and his little son are going for a walk. They come across two dogs copulating on the sidewalk. The son asks, "Daddy what are they doing?" "They are making a puppy," says the father.
Later, in the evening, the parents are testing the mattress when their little son comes busting into the bedroom and asks "What are you doing?" The father says, "Mommy and I are making a little sister for you." Says the son, "Turn mommy over. I'd rather have a puppy!."
