Well 10 bricks @ $104.99 make simple math ...$10.50 / brick. Which, yes is cheap!

Mistake is .04 CENTS. Common error as it is $.04 if they mean "four cents".

Don't forget your $4.99

That would be 5 bricks. 500 rounds per brick, 10 boxes of 50. $21 a per 500 roughly. $10.50 would have been before the gun rush.
I remember when it was $8 for 500.

Yes back in the day it was easy to get it for $18.95 at Cabalas. The Federal value pack of 525 rounds.
When they started gouging I quit buying.

Yep, I was thinking of a 5,000rd case. What I am used to buying. I just bought 5,000 CCI MiniMags at a higher price...but better ammo.

The local WalMart has 550round Federal 36gr .22LR boxes for $19.94 or about 3.6 cents per round. So the above may not be the cheapest.

I typically don't use Federal 36gr, but I'm about to try it.

What are possible problem with cheap bullets?

Duds?

Leaving excessive soot or corroding deposits in the rifling?

Poor symetry of bullet shape causing pattern spread?

Less load?

Shell not smooth or straigh to interfere with semiauto eject mechanism?

Any of you guys find that with cheap bullets?

I remember having heck with some thunderbolt or lightning cheap 22s years ago. The pop sounded deep and weak and after a box of 50 my barel was caked with sooty [censored]. Went back to remington yellowjackets and never had a problem.

.04 cents a round!...... (That's just 20 cents a brick!) I just ordered 4 cases, (20,000 rounds). I'm still waiting on shipping confirmation, so I can send the check. They're not kidding, that really is cheaper than a gumball!

2,500 rounds for $104.99...

That's 4.2 CENTS per round, or $0.042 per round.

Finding someone who makes the same mistake as you doesn't make either of you correct.

20 cents a "brick" (which is typically 500 rounds) ... that's only 0.04 cents ($0.0004) per round!
