Where I live a lot of the condos are owned by Canadians who come down for the winter...There are just about all here now...They like to party and have a good time...I always like it when they come and hate when they leave...They are always in a good mood unlike the residents who stay here all year long.

MUHAHAHA

Actually Canadian drivers can be kinda rude.....but camping in a Canadian campground is like a booze fest. When we lived by the border, seems like people were mellow on both sides. Now stuck down by Seattle, I miss it. And Seattle people are supposed to be friendly. They are IF you join the hippy dippy outlook.

Actually they drive 100 times better then Floridians...I have driven all over the country and Floridians are the worst...That is because everyone down here comes from a different country...A Floridian is not happy unless they are constantly changing lanes on I-95 and racing from one red light to the next...The lights are timed so you get every red light...I rarely see a Canadian involved in a crash down here.

Got a lot of hippy-dippies out in Duvall, do you?
I've never thought Seattle people--or Eastside people either--were friendly, or supposed to be. Maybe on the surface, for about 15 seconds, but that's it.

I wish a bunch would come here for the winter. I've never met a Canadian that I didn't like. Maybe I'm just lucky that way.

That too, I never miss a chance to thank older Canadians (who usually remember) for what they did for us and our citizens during the Iran Hostage Crisis back in 1979-80. I think few nations would have gone that far out on a limb for us, at such a huge national risk for themselves! A lot of details were lost to me over the years, but here's a pretty good history:

It's a good relationship. Oil, paper products, uranium, base metals, and military support.

I drive on I-75 and the Turnpike and I have not see as many Canadians down here compared to last year. Maybe its the economy thats keeping some away and not spending money if they really don't have to.

When they do come down..... Hollywood, Ft Lauderdale and Hallandale beaches are packed with Canadians on A1A

I live near a well known outlet mall called Woodbury commons in NY a little upstate from the city. We are inundated with canadian who come to shop and since our currency is in the tanks lots of foreigners buying suitcases full of stuff.

They are actually building more hotels here to accomodate all the people who flock here to shop.
