I have read up on it a little, but could not find anything that was set in stone. I have read that Calcium is less abrasive than Magnesium...but Magnesium is better for extended OCI as far as TBN retention goes. For a 6 month 5K mile OCI, should I be concerned about the abrasive properties of the Magnesium? Or is this just a myth? I have Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w20 on deck for the Accord, and the add pack has just about equal levels of Calcium and Magnesium.
