Aussie V8 Chainsaw

Given that it's the Aussie built 253 c.i. V-8, I can send you one (got one in pieces in the garage)...

We shipped this guy over late last year

http://www.braddelosa.com.au/

and he took the world championship in cutting stuff with his home made biceps and two stroke saw.

I've got a husquavarna with a 3' long blade that will chew thru a 28" oak in what feels like seconds and was the baddest chainsaw I had ever seen until now.
Looks like I'm gonna need nitrous now to keep up.

This is what happens when you have nothing to do except hang around the garage with extra motors, parts, chainsaws, etc.
AWESOME MAN TOYS!!!!!!!!!!

Different to the small block, it's the Aussie V-8, quite a bit lighter, and number 1 is on the other side (block stagger is reversed) to better suit our RHD chassis...

That being said, the 253 had all the noise and fuel consumption of the 308, but not the power.

The one I watched a few years ago on you tube the guys couldnt drop it fast enough. They would go from holding it to shoving it down as fast as they could. It had an aluminum block buick v8 and the chain flew so fast that it didnt touch the bar.
