I have gone on trips with people that put out a constant stream of interesting conversation, and not have the least bit of worry. Holding a conversation, can actually be SAFER, because this stimulates ur mind and keeps it from falling asleep.
You have to train yourself to be able to do it, if you are not so naturally inclined. You can just as easily have an accident while looking for a radio station, if you are not aware of this possibility, and train yourself.
