TEMU

I have received clothes from there...decent, really good for the price. My bride won't let me order from there any more as she heard something in the rumor mill about child labor. Some battles I just let go ;-)

TEMU has come up on my "click bait" menu. Your post got me to Google it.
I see a slew of tools which look way too low priced to be good as well as the largest assortment of cheap, toy tools I've ever seen.

No matter how you cut it, I'll always be suspicious of companies which offer the hollow 1" socket filled with rods of metal and claim it's a "One size does all" tool.

The imitation "German green" plastic cases are red flags to me.

Also, there was a pair of very butch looking hatchets -"Tactical cast iron hatchets"- for a lot of money.
It made me think they market to power hungry children.

I ordered a simple tool organizer for my car trunk, not bad. Problem is, spam. I get one to two emails per day from them. I guess I could block them, but now I wonder if I should have given them any info about me.

Just dont download the TEMU application to your phone. They are also starting to mark items on their website that ship from U.S. located distibution centers.

No. I'm not playing TEMU spin the wheel games. My wife has bought some things from there, but zero tolerance on my end.

On average, I have been happy with 80-85% of my purchases from TEMU. Overall, it's a highly successful way to buy things online.

Personally no, however, a guy I work with has bought basic stuff, hand tools, etc, with a lot of success. Super cheap.

Don't hold too many expectations for it and you'll be fine.

I know he got some Sanou drill chucks. While they're not Jacobs, they're not bad. Past employment experience had me evaluating Sanou for a major power tool manufacturer.

I have bought a couple things in the past from them. Assorted copper, aluminum sealing washers. Other small hardware assortments. Never an issue except it takes a while to get them from China. Price is right. I do get multiple emails every day telling me that I am a winner. I already knew that but it is nice to get that kind of ego bolstering confirmation.

You just have to be careful with what you get. I got a 360° lazer level kit which was very good. The price was great for everything it included. Small fasteners and stuff varies from good to poor.

My son is a big kid. 6'2" and 300 lbs. Football player.

He loves Japanese Anime and TEMU has a ton of T-shirts, hoodies, etc in 4X sizes. Decent price and surprisingly good quality. I also hobby a bit in board games, miniature painting, D&D, etc. Lot's of bits and pieces for that stuff. Some are knock off, but function fine for a quarter of the price.

Never had an issue ordering and it comes in about a week and a half to two weeks.

On my blacklist because of multiple political and ethical trading issues unrelated with price. My friends like them though, dirt cheap!

I have heard from some after buying from TEMU, their credit card number was use for illegal purchases. Sod TEMU has very poor (intentionally or otherwise) security. I would not use them for anything.

I think we use Apple Pay for it. So no security issues

Temu is like flea market stuff but more variety. We have gotten plenty off there. Hell half the stuff on Amazon is just a little more curated Temu stuff

I see a lot of the same stuff from Temu site for sale on Amazon.

I've ordered tools and such from Temu; I wouldn't use these tools for everyday tasks but they work well enough. I have an LED shop light in the garage that resembles a ceiling fan that I'm trying out. I prefer the 300w spiral fluorescent that it replaced; more light reflected off the ceiling.

Temu, Shein, Nike and Adidas have been identified for investigation by congress as violating US forced labor laws.
