No gas stations in the cultural backwater that have Techron already added to the motion lotion so have to do the buy-the-bottle-and-add-it-to-the-tank-once-in-awhile routine.
Stuff does seem to work from what I have read here there and everywhere.
Kinda' pricey, though, so keep thine proverbial eye open for the occaisonal sale or good deal.
Tractor Supply, a regional chain, had a heckuva' deal a couple years ago.... 5 bux off each 20oz bottle of the concentrate-type stuff.
Those deals don't happen often but they do happen. Well, in this area, anyway.

I headed to the Tractor supply site to see what they carry....without a sale, they are like twice what any one else charges...over $11 for the TWELVE oz bottle!
Pep Boys has an internet downloadable coupon-buy BOGO(limit 3,12oz) good till 2/28/07.
cool. printed two. even though it doesn't say "concentrate" I looked up the PN on the chevron site and it says it's the concentrate....let's hope they are right.
BTW, how many cars have a 12 gallon tank?
will it hurt to put two bottles in my civic and galant?

I also use this stuff for my Toyota and Dodge. One big bottle per 3000 miles as it states on the bottle. I don't know if your suppose to use it so much. The 20 oz bottle is costly enough. I'd prefer to check my tires for proper inflation.

I picked up the 12 oz techron bottles ("treats up to 12 gallons) at Pep Boys tonight.
In my 2 cars with 13-15 gallon tanks, would you say to add two bottles to each for a one tank cleanup or one bottle for two tanks in a row?

I'd add just one bottle for that size tank. If it's slightly weak it still should treat the tank well. In my case of the Durango I add two bottles for a 25 gallon gas tank. So what if it's off one gallon. Nothings perfect in this world. Don't sweat it!

So what is the difference between fuel system cleaner and fuel injector cleaner, and which one are you talking about in this thread?
I saw that yesterday before i went to Pep Boys and paid $4 a bottle, with no shipping.
