Hi Folks, First time doing a 7500 OCI on this motor. Did end up finding an intake boot that was loose after this analysis, hopefully that brings the silicon down.

Excellent report! I think the oil starts out with 2-3 ppm of iron along with a few particles of silicon. Again 2-3 if I recall correctly. Fine oil for 7500 miles. Just picked up some 5w30 T5 and will go 7500 on it. Thank you for the report. thumbsup

Yup. Both Original, and it has had a tune chip on it for about 30,000. Although, most of the time I drive it fairly easy.
