I guess it's not too bad of a deal if you consider that their are O'Reilly's in some small towns where the only other place that sells oil is Dollar General and you can't get a filter there. For example there's an O'Reilly's in Hartford City Indiana, of course you could go to Marion or Muncie to Walmart but those are both about 20 miles away, and once you consider your time and gas, paying $27.99 for the O'Reilly special isn't really anymore expensive than paying $18 for 5qts of Supertech + a filter at Walmart
