Syntec & UOA

I use 2 oz of SynTec per quart of mobil 1 oil. Will the addition of SynTec mess up the UOA? Thank You Eddie

By SynTec are you referring to an oil additive? Or Castrol Syntec oil?

Is it maybe not Syntec, but Synpower Oil Treatment by Valvoline?

I don't believe the oil treatment would mess up the UOA. You will see higher levels of some additives (see VOA of the Synpower Oil Treatment on this site) that are in the Synpower, but the UOA will still tell you if there is a problem with the engine.
