Syntec 10w40??

Anybody have experience using this in the past? I have two vehicles rated for 5w30, would this be too thick to use? I live in Northern Ohio, so I thought it would at least be sufficient for the summer. I'm asking because one of my local WalMarts has jugs of it on sale for $11. Might want to check your stores as well!

Good deal...I've used 10W40 syn oils in a few vehicles and really didn't notice any difference from the 5W30. Just look at your temp chart in the owners manual if it shows 10W40 in the summer you should be good to go.
