I have a 2004 F150 with 38,000 miles. I recently switched to YB at my last change. The modular ford engines were notorious for leaking down the oil during the long sit times, therefore they would experience a dry start-up. My Ford also suffers that problem. The cam chain tensioners leak down oil and the truck rattles at start-up for 1-2 seconds. Who knows what else is oil starved. Here is the foundation of my post. This is happening at shorter intervals now that I switched to YB. Before, it would take 10+ hours to leak down. Now it takes as little as 4 hours. Couincidence or chemical make-up of the oil? I previously used Motorcraft 5W20. I also use the recommended motorcraft filter. What do you think? Thanks, Matt
