This Super Tech MP7317 was on the Xterra for 3700 miles, it's the 20k rated one. I don't cut them often so can't offer any relevant commentary other than it was well put together, the pleats were even the glue seam tight, nothing had any flaws that I could see. Couldn't pull either end cap off with my wimpy arms. Like the Made in USA part.

Do we have any idea what the filtering efficiency is? The filter appears to be put together quite nicely.

I noticed from comparing to another C&P that this filter looks identical to the Valvoline oil filter, excepting the ADBV color/material.

Thank you for that AZJ.
Although I haven’t purchased an ST filter in quite some time, this is the # for the Nissan & Honda in my signature.

Nice filter, looks good. FB has been substituting some black nitrile adbv in some MP. Last one I saw had orange silicone though. Put an MP7317 with blue silicone in my neighbor's Civic a while ago. Yes, made by Champ Labs.

Thanks for c&p.

Thanks for the C&P. Looks like a decent quality filter. That exact filter is next up on Acura in signature. Feel confident by your pics running that filter 10,000 miles or two oil changes overall.

99% at 30 microns

Decent but I’d rather have a TG for $1 more, assuming silicone and not nitrile.

It seems that the regular ST7317 is identical to this MP7317 except for the blue silicon ADBV. Walmart is charging nearly 3 dollars extra for the silicone valve vs. the nitrile valve and I don't think it's worth it for the 5 or 6K OCI that I'd be doing. I do agree it's a nice looking filter.

I also have not been able to find a ST7317. The Walmart chart tells me a ST6607 is what I am supposed to use - but its smaller - than OEM or any other filter recommended for my Nissan's.

The MP7317 at 6 bucks with a nitrile valve isn't really a deal any longer, IMHO.

AFAIK there’s NEVER been a Champ Ecore ST7317, they’ve always referred 7317 vehicles to the tiny 6607 size. I personally use the PH7317 Fram EG on 7317 size vehicles, I like having at least a little more media in a filter, and I seem to have good luck buying them on sale from Meijer, even Ace Hardware most of the time. They (at least used to) have silicone ADBVs in them as well.
