Sun Visor Extenders. Do they work?

I'm talking about those for some of us driving east or west during sunrise and sunset.

Polarized sunglasses. Accept no substitutes.

I use polarized sunglasses already. Sometimes it's not enough for the near sunrise/sunset moments.

I think most of those visors are cheaply made, but even a piece of cardboard would work!

Are you looking for something transparent ?

What is exactly the problem, for example, my previous sunglasses were too small that if I moved my head a little bit the sun would glare me, so I got some aviator type ones, bigger than the ones that Horatio Cane uses and now no matter where the sun is I don't get glare.
Now these new ones, I think they are a little too dark so when the sun is about half Down I don't have enough contrast and I need to use my regular glasses.

The main problem I see with the one you posted is that the sun needs to be straight ahead for it to work.
