Whats good to use on sunroof tracks? i have a g35 2004 and runs slow. Will the silicon grease attract dirt? or will the silicone spray be too light weight?

Seems like most of the new cars I see have white lithium grease for the sunroof tracks. That would show me that it is safe to use, but I doubt it is an ideal lube.

MB sells a specific lube. Prevents all sorts of issues. Makes a difference when you want a working sunroof designed for 30+ years of operation.

I've heard lithium or anything petrol will eat the plastic guides up. and the specific stuff is somewhere between 25-50$ for 90 grams about 1-2 oz worth?
