what is the approx temp the pre mix coolant is supposed to protect to>??? minus 34 or minus 62...very hard to get the correct answer...

Appearance ......................... Blue
Density at 20°C ................... 1.07 g/cm³
Freezing Point ...................... -37°C/-34°F
Flash Point ........................... None
Boiling Point** .................... 129°C/265°F
Water Content ..................... 50%

**Using a 15 psi (103 kPa) pressure cap at sea level

however I have seen references to -62F as well. interesting

My thoughts:
Almost all 50/50 ethylene glycol based antifreeze is good to -34F

The -62f might be some sort of misprint based on a higher concentration of 60% or 65%

I agree with Rand. Very confusing literature out there. I think they meant to say "up to" -62F, if doctored up with concentrate. I've seen a forum thread that states the concentrate is available if one wants to go below the -34F rating of the 50/50 mix.

Here's another link suggesting -34F at 50/50: http://suforester.com/products/696
