2012 M37X - only 3 options for leaking front Struts, 120K daily driver.
Part interchange with 2014-18 Q70 AWD

OEM $348 ea
OEM Value $247 ea (Nissan aftermkt)
Sensen $106 ea
Rear struts I can get KYB.

I do this myself so not concerned with labor except alignment. Even FCS doesn’t make AWD front strut. No other aftermarket offers out there.
What to do…?…

I have used Sensen in the past, they are a premium aftermarket brand I was very happy with the ride, performance and quality of the shock/strut.

Good chance of it. Word is all Nissan struts are Chinese made and the Value brand is Nissan’s attempt to compete with all the other aftermarket suppliers. Interesting that in spite of coverage of nearly 10 years and many M37X and Q70 AWD there are so few choices. Oh well.

Have you looked at these discount online “dealerships” that sell true oem at lower prices?

There are more then these, just google discount online Nissan parts, all shipping is usually different for the same parts, and parts are different % discounts. You just have to spend some time pulling part# and comparing.

I do this for Hyundai and usually buy Kia parts as they are the same, less money, but a different box. You don’t have that option with Nissan.

Yes, but Nissan discount shops don’t list Infiniti. There are a number of Infiniti dealers that offer discounted pricing, that’s where the prices I quoted have come from. “Retail” is another $100+. Thanks, appreciate the info.

All my later Nissan vehicles had/have sachs, are they made in china? I may have seen Mexico on the shock/strut tube but could be wrong.

I just know their "Value" distributor for a '00 Xterra was the same Wai/AutoZone garbage at 4x the price of the Wai and twice the price of AutoZone.

I think it's insulting -- if OEMs want to sell bottom dollar aftermarket at "budget" dealer prices, they should just NOT and tell you to order off Amazon 'cause that's what you're getting.

Right now I can only find left side Sensen. Placed bid on reclaimed set with 49k on eBay. Stay OEM. They posted picks. Looks likes engine grenade, not collision. Perhaps stolen and insurance totaled.
