In 30 grade:

Valvoline MaxLife synthetic 10W-30....3.60 HTHS, HD add pack
Valvoline MaxLife blend 10W-30........3.30 HTHS, HD add pack
In 40 grade:
Mobil 1 10W-40 HM.....................4.1 HTHS, HD add pack
Valvoline MaxLife blend 10W-40........3.5 HTHS, HD add pack
Both the Mobil 1 and the Valvoline oils have heavier base oils, extra boron, and extra antioxidant. The Mobil 1 oils have 1000 ZDDP and about 100 moly. The Valvoline oils have 800 ZDDP and 300 moly. Both advertise extra cleaning, but both have the same calcium, magnesium, sodium as their non HM oils. It has been guestimated that it is ester or amines.
Amsoil 10W-40 XL is most certainly a robust oil and an inexpensive oil. Valvoline 10W-40 Durablend, Valvoline 10W-40 Premium Conventional. All these would qualify, are not HDEO/diesel, and you can get all but the Amsoil at Walmart.
On up there is Mobil 1 15W-50, 1200 ZDDP, lower pour point than some 30 grades, fantastic 40C of 131.2, 100C of 18.1 and HTHS of 4.5. I use it in all road vehicles year round.
