Hello,

I have a street strip setup th 350 with a 3,500 stall converter and a full manual valve body and a deeper pan so it holds more fluid, i think.

I am contemplating changing my fluid for the first time that I can recall, it has some miles and some drag passes on it.

What fluid would you recommend for a setup such as this? I am all for strong shifts and protection and don't need to spare any expense when it comes to buying new fluid. Oh and it performs fine now, so no issues just figure you should change the fluid, or correct me if i'm wrong??

Here's a recent pic of the car at Bandimere in Morrison, Co.

Thanks,
Rick

Atf type f is usually used in drag racing for these transmissions because of the fast engagement. But whatever you're using in it seems to work fine so maybe keep using it.

I use High Performance Lubricants Light Type F in my drag only TH350 with RMVB. They have it in various viscosity of light, medium, and heavy. It's very stable and lasts a long time. I like Type F in a TH350/400 as it firms up the shifts with more instant clutch engagement.
