Car owners should read the owners manual and especially the Maintenance section. Circle the required items for that mileage when taking the car for service. No more and no less. If they discover issues that require additional unschedualed service then the owner should be contacted BEFORE work over XX dollars is preformed. JMW

You are right. I installed an aftermarket transmission cooler and that helped some.

Smell the transmission oil, it should not smell like burned pancakes.

Should have done that *before* buying the car.

Experience is what you get right after you need it.
