Does it matter?

For example I can buy gas in Missouri or Illinois....

Quote:
Rule: According to 2 CSR 90-30.040 3 (B) “A suitable filter, ten (10) microns or less, must be installed in the meter inlet or discharge line and immediately adjacent to the meter.”

No regulations

Do they still make fuel dispensing filters larger than 10 micron??? I thought those were old stock and disappeared with the carburetor.

I buy my gas at Costco because they change those filters frequently and they tank up 4 to 5 times a day which I hope means that the constant turn over equals clean fresh gasoline for my cars. On top of that they are the cheapest in the area, too. All you have to do is be willing to wait in line sometimes 5 or more cars deep.
