I picked up a gallon of Star Brite's 2-stroke synthetic blend outboard oil early this year and have been really impressed with it. I've used it in my old Johnson outboards and the Sea-Doo waverunners. I grabbed another gallon of it last month and I'm about 3/4 the way through it. Does anyone know who makes the oil for Star Brite? All it says on the container is Star Brite Corporation and their address, nothing about "Made for Star Brite by.....". Thanks!

I doubt there's too many formulations of semi-syn TC-W3 left on the market. What color is it? It's probably on par with (if not identical to) one or more of Yamalube 2M, Mercury Optimax oil, Evinrude XD-50, Pennzoil Premium Plus. I bet if you can figure out who makes DFI oil for West Marine you'll have your Star Brite oil too. I'd bet money West Marine's synthetic blend gear oil is the same as Star Brite; I've used both.
