Why did stanadyne say there diesel fuel additives have no shelf life and then all of a sudden they said to store it no longer than 1 year? I use the lubricity formula in my truck but it's getting kinda old so I'm wondering if I should just get rid of the last few bottles and buy fresh stuff that I can use up in a year? I don't want any problems to be caused by putting some old additive in my fuel. As far as I can tell the additive looks normal. I keep the stuff sealed up and inside my house to it stays at a good temp. How long do you think it's good for? Do you think it would last longer than one year? i've heard of people using it up to 3 years.
