Great low cost oil.

Kmart has super-s for $8.99 for a 5 qt jug
Maybe Costco runs this coupon when Walmart offers a lower price?
I doubt that the two are connected, though, since these two retailers appeal to entirely different demographics.
Around here, if you seek cheap oil, Rural King's store brand beats Walmart every day and Meijer has their house brand on sale BOGO 50% off on a regular basis.

I'm running Super-S oil now in my 3.0 V6 Ranger. Oil was purchased from Menards and their MIR rebate was really quick. It runs a lot smoother now. (Okay, that could be because I just put in new spark plugs!) Anyway, it hasn't exploded or seized up yet. As far as a value line of oil, I think it's a close race between ST, Trop-Artic or Super S.
