Squeeking Dash

I have a 1989 Ford Ranger 4x4 xlt 2.9 auto. Dash has started squeeking seems like overnight. Most annoying need advice. thanks.

On my neon the top piece lifts off and i was able to insert very small rubber grommets where each fastener screws in and that helped a lot. If your dash is able to come apart easy i would try the same method.

Squeaks? 5 minutes or 5 hours to determine the cause! This is something we have to actually be there for.

If we know for sure the cause or location of the rattle or squeak, it is much more palatable than the unknown noise. Somehow we can endure it better.
