F250 in sig, upon start up in the morning, it squeaks pretty loudly, I'm not sure whether its the belt, belt tensioner, or idler pulley. It has been doing it the last few weeks, but the catch here is that it only does it after a night of heavy rain, or heavy humidity in the morning. On a dry day, absolutely no squeaks, and when it does start squeaking, its only for about 5 minutes and dissipates as I start driving, then goes away. So my question is, should I throw a new tensioner and idler pulley on it, or just assume that moisture on certain days is the cause of the squeak?

The truck is 20 years old, might as well replace the belts anyway

Run down to auto zone or AmaOn and get ya a stethoscope . You'll use it a lot down the road and appreciate it . Put that on there and the noise will be much more readily located. Just watch what you stick where while that engine is running for obvious reasons. Also don't be surprised if it's the idler pulley, they do wear out.
