Spotted in the wild

My "big car" was a '65 Mercury Park Lane, the 4-door sedan with the power rear window "Breezeway" option. White over dark red leather. The front seat needed a recover, I had to buy bias-ply tires every year and half, plus a new muffler every two years because it rusted easily. But! The A/C was cold, the Thunderbird engine was effortless (some 15 mpg on the highway, I guess), it was comfortable and paid for, I could change the oil myself, and nobody else in 1981-85 had one!

My father's cars were big because everybody's were: a '47 Cadillac fastback coupe, a '66 Impala Super Sport, and a '75 Monte Carlo. No wonder I like big 2-doors.

Definitely don’t make them like that anymore that thing is sold metal I’m sure. I’d love to have it. You can probably stand in the engine bay of them.
