Funny that the Ford truck story (and the Acura NSX story) just came out.
GM recalls some SUVs for a third time to fix power window switches, and tells owners to park their vehicles outside due to the fire risk:

Guess third time is the charm... except for GM. It may take a few more fires and recalls before they fix the problem.
there is a lawmaker that wants long jail terms for car companies that try to cover up dangerous issues..car companies are not so honest
With those trucks, the fires might do them some good...
Those trucks have some great engines, but they nickel and dime you to death with little issues.
My neighbor loves hers, but is always repairing something.
They have cheapened a bit in the last few years, and I would almost consider one...they are great for trips. Just don't want to spend money on it every week....
HEH.. We just got a recall notice on our 13 GC. Possible door fire from window switches......... No parts available, have to wait until they call..
