If you can't clean the only working part of a spark plug with a piece of emery paper, no ultrasonic cleaner is going to do anything but drain your wallet.,,,
Can you suspend it in the cleaner so only the tips are immersed? What are you trying to clean off? Is this a conventional older style plug or fine wire type?
I have pulled plugs for a reason other than changing and put them back but other than some brake/electronics cleaner I wouldn't see a reason. If you got one, giver a shot and see what happens. Let us know if it works
I have an ultrasonic cleaner, it pits aluminum parts. I wouldn't trust that the ceramic would survive the process, would be my luck that the ceramic developed a bunch of microscopic cracks that I couldn't see until it fell apart inside my cylinder while the motor was running.
