New ish to me Volvo xc90 2011. First time doing the plugs myself, wasn't bad.

They would have been done once at some point would they, seeing they aren't Volvo plugs? The dirtiest one still had some debris/oil? at the bottom. Hard to tell but
looked liked it. Do you clean that out/how or bigger problems?

I am not sure what you are asking. You got them out, install new ones instead of cleaning. You should have blown out the debris in the plug wells prior to removing. Any debris may have fallen into the cylinder.

NGK makes good spark plugs. The ones you removed are their Iridium IX series, which are supposed to be good for 40-50k, not as long as their OE-spec Laser Iridium series. The difference is that the Laser has a platinum ground, while the IX does not.

In fact, the NGK Laser Iridium #6481 seems to be the OE plug on your XC90
Volvo has used Champion in the past, too

Autloite isn't the greatest.

Just be glad you don't have the V8 because then the job would be impossible :D
In that case, I'd use ruthenium so you'll never have to replace them

Is that right 92saturns12? That's what I don't know cause I've never done plugs before...like what is bad. So they weren't awful. Did
feel a bit better zip in the car but probably all in my head.
