It rattled the windows slightly here, but being closer the viewing angle wasn't as cool as people farther away.
I grew up in Lompoc and we would get woken up by early morning Titan IV launches. Those really rattled things.
My first thought (besides rocket launch) is now N. Korea (or us intercepting them). Alien UFO is much further down the list.

I am sad to say I thought the same thing. I went from hey look a satellite launch to thinking oh [censored], I hope that isn't due to N korea.
One thing that is new to me on this launch:
why does the trajectory appear to be more horizontal, versus a vertical trajectory?
Distance away from camera and the fact that the exhaust was illuminated by the sun and visible for thousands of miles would be my guess; rocket/missile launches like this are in fact more horizontal as once at altitude (several hundred thousand feet), they fly horizontally at their designed altitude to launch their payload.
