Southwire 100’ 12-3 extension cord

Do you think it makes sense to wait until the Amazon sale on July 8th for the price to go down? Or are these right now really at the Rock bottom at the mid-50s price range?
I too needed some stuff on Amazon. The sales can be great but sometimes the stuff you want to go on sale doesn't go on sale.

Fwiw I bought a 100 foot 12 gauge yellow southwire extension cord. I had a heavy wrecker I plugged the block heater into. Drove over it a few times with the rav4 even. The yellow one was very well made! Sold on marketplace when we moved out of the state. I always planned on making a 60/40 length out of it. I inherited a different 100 foot cord and made two 60/ 40 lengths out of it!

I wanted a light up cord end and installed the journeyman pro from Amazon! Very robust and it clamps onto a long length of the stranded copper.

Hope this extension cord is the same quality as the yellow I bought but I am not sure. I was very happy with the quality.

Rather than creating a new thread, I figured it would be easier and more helpful to add to this thread since the original deal is still active.

Noticed this this morning. Specifically the orange 12-3 25’ cord for $17.49. https://a.co/d/ayedzRc

Cords arrived today and although I obviously haven't used them yet they seem very good quality, I was quite surprised how heavy they were which is a good indication they are a decent heavy-duty 12-3 cord. Thanks again. On another note, I just wanted to mention if you don't really need a 100' cord on a regular basis two 50' cords are much more desirable in my opinion, even if they will cost a little more.

Absolutely! I made a 60/40 out of a 12/3 extension cord and couldn't have been happier! Used a Journeyman Pro light up replacement end with a 20 amp rating and found the quality of it to be great! It clamps a lot of surface area of copper.
