For 33 years I have been rebuilding my water proof stainless steel septic aerator motor and filling it with a vendor supplied oil. That vendor has gone out of business, and for the life of me I cannot find a reasonable source for gallon quantities of a motor/dielectric/transformer oil that is around ISO10 to 14 or about 12 cSt at 40 degC.

I currently have it filled with Dextron III ATF, but my Zahn cup measurements show the ATF at about twice the room temperature viscosity of the remaining sample I have of the "good oil."

I have found many ISO32 ish analogues, like mineral oil based refrigeration compressor oil, but would like something with 1/2 that viscosity for energy savings. This motor runs 24/7 so those watts add up over 30 years!

Any suggestions, alternates or work arounds appreciated.

Thank you gents!!
ragtoplvr looks like the dextron 6 is less viscous than dextron 3 but still a bit "thick" cSt @ 40ºC 29.5

Rand I owe you big time!! That was what I was looking for! Genius you are. Got a gallon on order as I type.
