Interestingly, there is sufficient waste heat in an IC engine to perform the "water gas" reaction rather than running on fuel vapours.

All I know about Ehtanol is that is makes the cheese cost more on my pizzas! I don't like that.

How do they get hydrocarbons out of something that produces carbon dioxide and water?
