So many oils : ughh

Have a 2006 Audi 2.0 Quattro .. with about 100K miles.. Looking for best oil for all components eng, trans, rear .. Have been using some mix Castrol, Motul .. Wondering is there are better suggestions for a complete change of oils ..

if it meets the specification of the car. its good oil. With the difference being so small between synthetic and blend or conventional, i wouls stay with synthetic even it its not “real” synthetic.

In EA113 basic rule is VW502.00 and as heavy as possible. Valvoline European Vehicle 5W40, Mobil1 5W40FS etc.

What makes you think that any of the major name brand oils are better than another with the proper ratings . The whole better thing boils down to is will you ever notice the better during the ownership of the vehicle?
