Snowblower Storing Away

Hi All,

I have a Simlicity Snow Blower with a Intek Snow engine 9HP if that matters. The manual suggests synthetic oil so I use SuperTech 5W30.

My question is I hopefully ran it for the last time this season this morning. Is it better to put away with oil changed now or wait before start of season next year?

I change mine before storage so it is stored without contaminates in the oil. I was told that the contaminates are acidic and not goos for the engine.

Yeah, put it away with clean oil. Also put about half an ounce in the spark plug hole and turn it over a couple times.
