OK, I finally got the FLF80 Snap-On ratchet. Nice action.

I didn't want that 'comfort grip' handle so I got the plain metal one but it's very slippery. Is there any fix for that? Like maybe put skateboard tape on it? Or something to that effect?

It's just amazing they don't put knurnling on it like on high-end flashlights so they are not slippery.

Or is that a case of: "not a bug but a feature"?

I haven't actually used it yet so we shall see. I also have a Mac ratchet with knurling but I don't like the shape of the grip.

I have a FLF80 and I've never found it to be slippery. Perhaps yours has some grease/oil on it?

Have you tried wiping it with an all-purpose cleaner?

I have smooth wratches that I don't have much of a problem gripping, but I suppose if perspiration was factored in it could be. Why not try a set of gloves?

I haven't had a problem with mine but a buddy uses heat shrink tubing on his to help a little bit. If nothing else, dip the handle in in vinyl like some plier handles.

I use my Snap-On ratchets all the time no sissy handles for me. Not a problem. In fact I prefer the chrome or industrial finish ones most of the time.
