Ouch! I wouldn't have thought the difference would be that much.

Makes me wonder about the difference in production cost.

I don't. That's the reason for the last line of my post.

I also don't know if the listed SN was surplus but if so they have committed to supplying it for a year.

The prices came off the list they gave Washington State for the year (before Washington's 20% Discount).
