Smart phone/computer guru question

One friend asked me to send the pictures to her but since we were out of cell phone range I told her I would email them later. She then instructed me about Airdrop which is a Apple feature. I had no idea. Learned something new.

Some "tools" are better suited for different tasks. Apple device to (any) Apple device - Airdrop is the BEST option, IMO. If it's between Apple and Android, not an option. You can try a Bluetooth file transfer but I've never had much luck with that. If you want to email something, i.e. send to an email address, use an email app. Want to send something to a phone, i.e. SMS or MMS, use the text app. Mixing them can be hit or miss...
