Bando belts (with the fleece-textured ribs) work well and are OEM on many Honda vehicles. I've used them on the two Odysseys I maintain and they don't squeal.

The chirp is a pain but everything looks fine.

Seriously, I would just try the 303 Protectant. Maybe a couple doses. If it fixes the squeak (on a 1 year old, almost new belt), you'll save yourself the headache of doing this job. Plus, any new belt you install might also squeak.

They used to sell the conti version but not anymore.

I contacted Dayco and they are sending me a new belt and tensioner.

I'll throw that in when I get it.

I contacted jigaloo a silicone oil free spray. They said their product would not harm epdm.

So I tried that in the interm..so far no chirp
