Should I change oil before UOA? (used car)

Hey guys,

I just bought a Merkur XR4Ti with a Ford 2.3 turbo powerplant.

Question is I'm interested to see what UOA results will come from the engine but should I change the oil and run for a known interval before sending the oil for UOA?

Thereafter Auto-RX is going in!

do an arx treatment first, then do a uoa once your done with the cycle. You want to make sure you get all the crud cleaned out first b4 you do a uoa. That way, you can tell how many miles you should go. Always start with a clean engine.
