Win's right- in general, a portable can't really compare to a good tabletop receiver with some sort of outside antenna(s). But if a hurricane comes it's hard to take that with you!
The CCrane SW- it's a version of the Redsun 2100. Google reviews on both names(say, "ccrane sw review", "redsun 2100 review"). I have no personal experience with one, but it looks like in many ways it's a really neat radio. Here's one thing I can guarantee- if you tune the CCSW and the Sony 7600GR both to, say, your favorite FM music station- the big speaker on the CCSW will blow away the Sony. That's one of the Sonys biggest bad points, though it offers great FM stereo through headphones, the speaker just doesn't sound like much.
In the reviews I've read on the CC/Redsun so far, the one thing that crops up that I'd worry about is quality control. Things like controls that get balky & then don't work at all, solder joints that break, etc. I'd sure want to get one from a reputable seller, like CCrane themselves or maybe Amazon- just in case I got a bad one.
Here's a link to the Amazon page, they have some reviews to start on. Link:

Looks like 16 out of 27 reviewers gave it 4 or 5 stars. Amazon tends sometimes get the whiners & unreasonable(say, gave a product bad review because seller shipped slow, etc), so their overall rating of 3.x stars isn't bad.
Some other places to look might be Eham.com or Radiointel- I haven't checked them yet. When you look, be sure to include the Redsun 2100. For a time there was a Kaito version too, but I dunno the Kaito model #.
I think the Kaito version disappeared when CCrane started selling their CCSW.
Look around, read reviews, take everything with a grain or three of salt, and in the end you pays your money & takes your choice!
If you do get a CCrane SW let us know how it does. I's the only portable I see for over $100 that I'm really curious about.
